According to Lu Zhongqiang, commissioner of China Development Bank, Poland is one of the strongest countries in our region, which in turn helps to improve the economic relationship in the whole region. He says that they want to support investments in Poland. Therefore, they have already bought made some investments, for example by buying Huta Stalowa. A credit line of value 10 mld. dollars has been also created in order to support those companies which are interested to make business in Poland, he informed.
Chief of the polish branch of Huawei electronics manufacturer company also told about difficulties and possibilities. According to him, each year 500 mln. dollars are invested in Europe and they expect to surpass the amount of investments of 500 mln. euro. In some way, they are a European company despite the fact that they experienced some problems in the beginning, probably as every Chinese company in Europe he says. We had to learn how to deal with the Europeans, since there are different banking systems, employment law and environmental requirements he added.
Olgierd Dziekonski has positively spoken of business relationships. He said that approval of entering Poland’s market by the chinese banks shows that influence of their economy is real, he also added that Poland supports joining WTO by China. They will appeal to EU to grant China status of market economy.
Although China’s investments in Poland were not the best in the beginning, dismissal of COVEC company from building A2 highway may prove it, the chinese companies have to work according to the market rules and law. Those companies which had not succeeded should understand it said mr. Dziekonski. Mr. Changlin, economy and commerce consultant of chinese embassy praised Poland. Among the things he mentioned there are good localization, huge market, friendly business environment and skilled human resources. He also complained of red tape but as he said things are not that bad because the situation in China is the same.

Since the beginning of the year, the agency has implemented 10 projects (162,14 million euro of total value and 2 697 new vacancies). Those investors, who decided to invest to Poland have business in the following fields: aircrafts, BPO, entertaining-scientific, automotive industry, ICT and food processing industry.
