Delegation of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economic Regulations visited PAIiIZ. The delegation was invited to visit Poland by the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency
During their visit in Warsaw the delegation held meetings with, among others, representatives of the Polish Ministry of Economy, the Export Credit Insurance Corporation (KUKE) and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ). In PAIiIZ members of the delegation got an insight into the workings of the Agency’s departments and took part in workshops prepared especially for them. Moreover, the delegation visited Łódź where the Kyrgyz guests met with people from the Łódź Special Economic Zone, the regional Investor Assistance Centre, the Łódź City Council and representatives of the Head of the Regions’s Management Board.
The aim of the visit was to get the delegation acquainted with ways and methods of attracting foreign investment to Poland and with programs, schemes and structures which help develop business initiatives in the country. The Polish side focused on the importance of economic conditions which play a crucial part when it comes to locating projects.
The Baltic Sea today plays a crucial role in the energy security of Poland and the wider region. It serves as a key route for oil and gas supplies, hosts underwater power and fiber-optic cables, and is the site of large-scale offshore wind farms that will supply Poland’s energy system in the coming years. With the growing strategic importance of the Baltic Sea and the ongoing war in Ukraine, the scale of threats to critical offshore infrastructure is also increasing.
